Who Me? A Versatile Blogger!

I'm honored that Patti from A Series of 3rd Grade Events and Jennifer from Rowdy in First Grade chose little ole' me to receive the Versatile Blogger Award. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

According to the rules... I'm supposed to tell you 7 things about myself.

1. I'm short (4'11").
2. I am a terrible cook (but you should taste my cookies)!
3. I might be obsessed with brushing my teeth and my hair (maybe).
4. I love to give speeches. (I talk and talk and talk. I love to talk. Everyone sits there and listens. How great is that?!)
5. I coach girls lacrosse at our local high school.
6. I'm super freaked out by lice. (I use an organic spray on my hair every school day. I KNOW - FREAK! Let me know if any of my fellow freaks out there want the name of the spray.)
7. I really want to travel to Italy.

Enough about me...

Here are 15 of the blogs hat inspire me on a regular basis.  A few have already received the Versatile Blogger award from another blogger... but a double award is well deserved by these gals.

  1. I need the name of the spray! We have a serious lice infestation in first grade this week and I can't take it! I had my hair in a bun all day!

  2. Ha! I hear ya about the bun! It's called Fairy Tales (Rosemary Repel Leave in Conditioning Spray). I buy it on Amazon. :)

  3. ok, totally get the spray thing! And THANK YOU!!!! You are so sweet and I would love to hear your speeches if I met you!! :)

  4. Thank you, Kimberly!!! And I just blogged about what's in my school bag. Three bottles of hairspray. Now I will have a lice repellant hairspray to make it an even four. :)

  5. Thank you Kimberly! I feel so honored! And I LOVE cookies! They are my favorite food ever. I really believe I could eat them for every meal every day. So if we meet up, you have to bring me some. ☺

  6. Thanks super duper!! You are so very kind! I've been so very busy and I didn't mean to take so long to say thank you!! Morgan came home with a note last week with the dreaded - you have a case in your classroom - letter. AHHH!! I try not to freak. We have been lucky so far! I don't use hairspray other wise I'm sure I would be buying up the stuff you use! I hope your year is going awesome!!

  7. You are so funny! I DREAD giving speeches. I fear death less than public speaking. I can do it, but I am a basket case before, during and most likely after. :)

I am super freaked out by lice, too. Thankfully, I've only had one year that I had two kiddos that had it repeatedly. Every time the nurse would come into our room to do a head check, my head would itch the rest of the day. Makes me itchy just thinking about the 'L' word! :)

Thanks so much for awarding me the Versatile Blogger Award! I really appreciate it! :) That is so sweet of you!
