Bring on Tomorrow

Let's talk about today...or maybe not...because the things I really want to tell you about today would be just the kind of things that I'm probably not "supposed to" write. Ughh...it was not a good day at school. I wish I could be more specific or at least show you a picture. I'm sure tomorrow will be better, right?

And...I don't know about all of you, but this starting the new year off healthy thing is starting to make me bonkers too. Eating a teeny amount of calories, having extra servings of veggies and all this exercising is beginning to interfere with my plan to relax (which is my OLW). After a day like today, shouldn't a girl be able to enjoy some chocolate and her favorite drink? Nope. Not when you are trying to be honest with the things you report to your "Fitness Pal". Blah, blah, blah.

To make myself feel better, I decided to read some of my favorite blogs (that helped a lot), spend an hour pinning (that helped too) and do some research about buying a Silhouette. To tell you the truth, I've been trying to avoid buying one (just because I am so busy that I'm not even sure I'd have time to use it). I just don't think I can stand it anymore. Is it as dreamy as everyone claims it is?

Cameo? or Portrait? Any opinions? I'd love to hear what you think if you have one.

Crossing my fingers for tomorrow... Happy Friday!

  1. Sorry your day wasn't great. I was being evaluated today and one kid had his feet out and I said what I always say, "you don't want me to fall on you, I am a fat old lady." The kids spoke up and said you are not fat you are fluffy" then it dawned on me the principal was in the room.. Go me, not.

    I hope tomorrow is better.

  2. Sorry to hear you had a hard day. I've had a few of those myself this year and also wished I could blog about it in detail. I am impressed that you didn't cave to the comfort of chocolate. Hope tomorrow is better!

  3. I've had a few of those kind of days myself, but I wasn't as good as you were. I probably ran straight to Sonic for a large vanilla coke! lol You should feel proud of yourself for not binging. I may have to check out Fitness Pall if it is that powerful. ha

  4. Hang in there. I'm sure it will get better. And if there's a teacher alive who can't relate to what you're saying, they aren't honest with themselves, right?

On the plus side, you didn't cave in with the chocolate bar. That's impressive.

  5. You are good! I caved in this afternoon after my no good, very bad, horrible day. I ate a Little Debbie cake that my oldest daughter had stashed away in my cabinet at school! What is it with Friday"s anyway? Aren't they supposed to be fun? Mine are typically not. Thank goodness tomorrow is Saturday. Hope your weekend is just fabulous!!!!

  6. Hope you had a better day on Friday. I hate those days where you just want to go home and jump in bed and pull the covers up over your head. The good news is today is SATURDAY! Yea!
